Professional D&D Dungeon Master
Save Vs. Boredom
Where characters matter more than character sheets
About Your DM
I've been weaving tales around gaming tables since 1984, when I first opened that iconic red box as a 10-year-old. Four decades later, I still believe the best sessions are the ones where we remember the characters... their hopes, their failures, their impossible choices. My specialty is the Forgotten Realms in its golden age, before the Time of Troubles changed everything. This is where I cut my teeth during the AD&D 2nd edition era of the '90s, and it remains the world I know like the back of my hand.
My Approach:
Story Over Stats
This table is for you if:
You make decisions based on what your character would do
You want meaningful choices with real consequences
You crave rich NPCs and political intrigue
You're excited by exploration and discovery
This table is NOT for you if:
Character optimization is your primary focus
You use your character sheet as your main decision-making tool
You're looking for a combat-heavy dungeon crawl
You need constant action to stay engaged
I use milestone leveling because your story matters more than your XP total. We'll employ optional rules like Morale and Gritty Realism because they serve the narrative. Every session comes with custom maps, handouts, and curated Spotify playlists.
